Founded in 1974, The Gainesville Community Band is the premier adult concert band of North Central Florida. We are the official band of the City of Gainesville and offer the opportunity for instrumental musicians to continue performing in a quality concert band. During the 2006-07 season, the band had a roster of 80 musicians and performed for 20,000 people.
